Empowering Autism Families Through Real Stories, Support & Style
Have you ever felt like there’s no village—no one to turn to, no one who truly understands? Like you’re completely alone in this journey with your autistic child? Exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering if you have anything left to give? I see you. I was you. I was that lost, confused, grieving mom, desperately searching for answers, hope and connection.
"As an autism mom who have walked through the initial grief, I chose to share my vulnerable story with you, bringing a sense of hope, connection, strength, to empower and inspire you..." - Dhamirah
But I want you to remember this quote, "What you're not changing, you're choosing."
If you're unhappy, but refuse to act, that's a choice and it's keeping you stuck. Success comes from a winning mindset.

Hey dear! I've completed both your books and it's truly touched my heart, exactly how I felt. I once had a miscarriage last year too eventhought it was detected early but I totally feel you. Shortly after, we suspected our daughter's autism and it was overwhelming. No mummies want to lose their baby and couldn't escape feeling guilty or self-blame. You...

It relates to me so much on the private therapist part that it is a need not an option for our kids. And how much it drained our finances. Nobody really talked about it. Really appreciate you being so raw and real about it.

I've learnt and am always learning so much from you through your igstories and now, book. You've taught me a lot about our kids that are on the spectrum and I am definitely going to apply the things to my students or even their parents.

Mom of 3, Autism Advocate, Content Creator & Storyteller behind Instagram's @adamautismawareness.
Hello, I'm Dhamirah!
Just a passionate and ordinary mom, living and breathing Autism for nearly 7 years now.
When my firstborn, Adam, was 18 months old, he was non-verbal and showed early signs of Autism. That was when I first suspected he might be on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I remember feeling completely lost and alone, drowning in confusion, grief, and fear. It felt like the end of the world. But deep within, I knew I had to rise to fight for Adam, to be his voice before he ever had one.
What no one talks about is the financial burden of early intervention — especially private, home-based therapies. After thorough research, we finally found a therapy that gave us hope and promised real progress. It wasn’t cheap. I invested ALL my savings we had set aside for our future home renovations into Adam’s therapy, intervention and education instead. But those funds only sustained us for a year.
When that year ended, the reality hit. We still needed financial support for his continued therapies, interventions, and education. That’s when we hustled. On top of our careers, Faz (my other half) and I started a home-based business. It was exhausting. All the sleepless nights. No days off. We kept pushing, thinking we were “balancing” but in truth, we were just surviving.
Over time, we began to see the world through Adam's eyes. That’s when @adamautismawareness was born. What started as a personal space to share our journey became a global platform that inspires tens of thousands to see autism through a lens of hope, not limitation.
That journey inspired me to create my very first e-book: AUTISM UNVEILED — a vulnerable, raw, honest, and deeply personal account of the emotional rollercoaster, struggles of motherhood to my autistic son, Adam and our family.
If you’ve ever felt unseen or unheard, please know that I see you. I hear you. I feel you.
And I'm here to INSPIRE AND EMPOWER you on this autism journey.
